No prior medical experience? No problem! While having medical training such as EMT, Paramedic, RN, PA, or MD/DO is beneficial, it’s not mandatory to join the Lee Canyon Ski Patrol. We offer a comprehensive program called Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) through the National Ski Patrol, specifically designed to train individuals in the medical aspects of ski patrolling. Many of our team members come from diverse backgrounds such as teaching, accounting, law enforcement, business ownership, and more, where their day-to-day jobs have no medical-related responsibilities.
